The longevity of an organization is governed by the members and their commitment to the vision, purpose and goals of the organization.  Join us in celebrating and promoting the activities that made your years at Moberly High School so special. Remember MHS and feel the Spirit.  You do not have to be an alumnus to be a member.

There are many reasons for "joining" the Moberly High School Alumni Association. Most people can find more than one reason! First, it doesn't cost very much to join and we are a 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization.  There are also many other reasons to join.

bullet To get in touch with old friends and classmates!

Are there one or two people that you went to high school with, that you'd really like to see again? Maybe you were best friends then but you've lost touch over the years. Renew your friendship by locating them through the association.
 
bullet To locate teachers that you'd like to thank!

We might not have liked all our teachers, but most of us have one or two teachers that made a real difference in our lives. We might have known they were special at the time, or it might have taken us years to see what they really taught us about life and about ourselves. Many of those special teachers are no longer with us, so if there's a teacher or member of the staff who really made a difference in your life, now is a good time to start looking for them again.
 
bullet To help give something back to enrich the programs at your old high school!

We have a small minimum charge for annual dues and you get to volunteer to help with our fund raising activities. The money we raise goes to fund various programs at the high school, enriching the curriculum for the current students.  Also, our goal for the future is to establish a scholarship fund tow provide two scholarships per year to a graduating senior!
 
bullet To network for business reasons with your old classmates!

Many people prefer to do business with people they know, their old classmates. Business networking is another benefit of "joining" the association and attending the social events.
 
bullet To get together with your friends for some great reunions and school-wide alumni parties!

Each class usually does their own reunion, although some classes hold joint reunions to spread the work among more people. These reunions vary in planning and execution from elaborate semi-formal affairs to more casual events, but all of them share the same spirit of old friends getting together, remembering the fun times they had in high school!  For the last several years, during homecoming week, we have put on a homecoming bash with the last two years have extended into a two day affair.  The 2007 Homecoming Bash are in the works for an even bigger event and much more fun.

As we said before, joining the association costs very little, and it provides you with a lot, including this web page. We are  working to create an address database and begin providing current news such as upcoming class reunions and events like the 2007 Homecoming Bash. Please take a minute to send us your current mailing address for our files along with your annual dues.
